Deadlines

Abstract Submission deadline:  January 22, 2018.

Decisions from Scientific Program Committee by March 1, 2018

All Travel Award Application deadlines are November 19, 2017.

Early Bird registration closes March 2018. Final registration closes June 2018.

Final program to be published June 2018.

Visas to enter the USA are needed for participants from many countries and waiting times for embassy interviews can be months. If participants anticipate difficulty obtaining a visa, the USDA Forest Service International Programs can assist by pre-vetting applicants prior to their US Embassy/Consulate interview (not more than 90 days before arrival in the USA).

Travel Awards
1) 4 travel awards for MSA post-doctoral fellows or non-tenure or tenure track faculty that are conducting research in mycology ($1,500 each). To apply, follow the procedures for International Travel Awards.
2) 8 travel awards for non-MSA early to mid career professionals that are conducting research in mycology ($2,500 each). To apply, follow the procedures for International Travel Awards. Preference will be given to applicants from developing countries and underrepresented groups.
3) 24 travel awards for MSA student members ($1,000 each). To apply, follow the procedures for Mentor Student Travel Awards.
The application deadline for all travel awards is November 19, 2017. If you know a colleague that will be attending the IMC11, please forward this announcement.
