“Sideways” (2004)

It’s been a year since I’ve seen Alexander Payne’s comedy/drama Sideways for the first time and I think that wine isn’t alone in refining with age. I’ve read the screenplay many times and considered it to be one of my favorites. However, I’d never had the opportunity to compare it to the film.

Review

“Lady in the Water” (2006)

M. Night Shyamalan’s new film, as with most of his previous ones, is a supernatural thriller set in modern Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, with Lady in the Water, only kids are allowed to “get” the story. Or so that’s what I’m told.
