The Legend of “Versus”

Maybe it was the fact that it was 3:00 a.m. and we were all wide awake, but I’ll tell you, I’ve never been in a room with more contagious laughter than that one. For two hours, we nuked cups of ramen in that beaten blue and silver microwave and dished out high-fives like hot cakes. My favorite night in that dorm, and it didn’t require a drop of alcohol.

I like free movies; who doesn’t? But until the glorious day when I obtain a press pass and the gates to the free press screenings are whooshed open for my sake, I have to figure out different ways to get my free flick fix in the meantime.

For the Love of Hog!

One of the stories of the year so far in regards to the comedy film genre has been the success of Knocked Up. Critics seem to love it, fans seem to love it. But I fear that the story of another comedy long-thought over is still continuing, and its existence is disturbing.

I’m talking about Wild Hogs. Remember that movie? The one that critics hated (16% Rotten Tomatoes)?
