Over at Forces of Geek, I take a look at the expectations for Joss Whedon’s latest TV effort:
For many Buffy, Angel, and Firefly fans, it’s the best of times and the worst of times. Dollhouse premieres tonight on FOX, marking Joss Whedon’s much-awaited return to television. The show looks intriguing and with familiar, tried-and-true (by geek standards) names attached to it, we look to be in for a treat. At the same time, we live in a world were numbers and money do the talking, and for a network show to stay alive, it’s got to rake in the viewers, the awards, or both. The delays and problems that have arisen for Dollhouse during its production are a bit foreboding despite the reassurances of Whedon, so I’m wondering what kind of experience we’re in for this time around.
