My girlfriend watched Dreamgirls yesterday. I’ve never seen it, but I was sleeping when she started it, so I planned on watching the full film at a later time. I did, however, catch the credits at the end of the film and it blew my mind how shameless Dreamworks and the creators of this film actually are. The film technically isn’t even over and it’s already campaigning for an Oscar!

May I also point out that this is often the technique used during the Oscarcast when presenting the nominees for Best Editing? Looks like Dreamworks is saying, “We’ve already done the hard work for you. Just cut and paste!”

It goes on, but I can barely stomach how much they’re willing to flaunt themselves. Y’know, it only makes it that much more sweeter that Dreamgirls was snubbed for Best Picture.
